Terms of Trade
If you purchase any products via this website, you must agree to What To Give’s Terms of Trade (see Shipping).
Purchase and Sale of Alcohol
All alcoholic products offered for sale by What To Give are NOT available to persons under the age of 18 years. Under Victorian Legislation gifts containing alcohol can only be purchased by someone other than the ultimate receiver and both the purchaser and the ultimate receiver need to be over 18 years of age.
What To Give supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol.
  1. Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence for a licensee to supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years. It is an offence for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor from another person.
  2. Alcohol quantities are limited to 1.5 litres per recipient. When placing orders customers should ensure that they do not exceed sending the permitted alcohol limit of 1.5 litres (approximately two bottles) per recipient.
  3. Purchaser Representation: By ticking the ‘I agree’ button during the checkout process, the purchaser represents that they and the recipient, are over 18 years old. The purchaser accepts that it is an offence to falsely represent they are of legal age to purchase alcohol and to obtain alcohol on behalf of a person who is under 18 years.
  4. Delivery: Upon delivery of What To Give products, the recipient may be required to provide a valid ID for proof of age and sign for the goods.
Personal information provided to What To Give via this website will be handled in accordance with What To Give’s Privacy Policy.
What To Give’s credit card transactions are fulfilled by a banking institution authorised under the laws applicable to this website. When collecting credit card information for online purchases, What To Give offers secured server transactions that encrypt your information in transit to prevent others from accessing it. All information is stored on a secure server. Your credit card details are encrypted and then removed from our system once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping and Shopping

Definitions and Application
  1. In these Terms of Trade, "What To Give" means What To Give Retail
    (ABN 95 957 504 622) trading as What To Give, 'you' means the organisation or individual who is ordering product on the website, and the "Products" means the What To Give products which may be ordered on the website.
  2. These Terms of Trade apply to any purchase of any Products by you from this website which are delivered in Australia.
Shipping Rates
For all orders delivered to an Australian address, we guarantee your What To Give gift will be sent the next business day when ordered before 6pm

What To Give offers the following shipping options:
Standard: $10.00 (via Australia Post) - between 1- 5 business days for the What To Give to arrive.
Express Post: $16.95 (via Australia Post) – If order is placed before 2pm we guarantee 1 to 2 business days delivery if address falls within the Australia Post Express Post network
Free Postage where the online order subtotal is $250 or greater
Please note: Orders returned to What To Give due to incorrect address, failure to collect from Australia Post Outlet, will incur a re-shipping and
re-delivery fee.
International Shipping
Due to the perishable and fragile nature of our What To Give gifts we do not offer International Shipping for online orders. Please contact us directly to enquire about International shipping options for corporate orders.
We strongly advice against gifts containing alcohol and/or food items as these may be subject to customs in the destination country. We cannot guarantee against products being confiscated and removed from the gift or against import duty and taxes being added to the parcel upon receipt in the destination country.

Our Delivery Promise To You
We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver What To Give gifts quickly and efficiently. We always endeavour to deliver your What To Give gift as close to your preferred delivery as possible. If your order is not delivered on your preferred delivery date, we are unable to cancel your order or credit your transaction.
Where the order is to be delivered to an Australian address, What To Give will:
Use reasonable endeavours to deliver the order within five working days (Monday – Friday,  excluding official public holidays) from the date the order was submitted by you; Australia Post delivery time varies depending on your location within Australia. You (the purchaser) will receive an Australia Post tracking advice number, please use this number to track your parcels movements via the Australia Post website http://auspost.com.au/track/.
When express post is selected, and What To Give gift is ordered before 6pm, What To Give will use reasonable endeavours to distribute the order the next business day*, for delivery following business day within Australia Post guaranteed next day delivery network.

If you are not home to receive your package then you need to pick it up from your nearest Australia post outlet.

Please note: If premises unattended a card will be placed in the post box and the parcel will be transported to the nearest Australia Post Outlet.

We endeavour to ship your order promptly and without delay. If a delay does occur, it is often during transit which it outside of our control. Prices & Payment
All prices on the website are in Australian dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice.
The amount payable to What To Give for an Order (Order Amount) will be the total of the following amounts:
  1. the sum of the price of each Product ordered as indicated on the website at the time of submitting the Order (Product Subtotal);
  2. the cost of delivery determined in accordance with Delivery stated above, and
  3. prices shown on this website are inclusive of GST
You must pay the Order Amount by credit card at the time of submitting the Order. What To Give accepts Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.

What To Give gifts & Wrapping
All What To Give gifts will be packed into a recyclable cardboard gift box and wrapped with What To Give signature wrapping paper and tag.
The void filler is 100% recyclable paper, but very fragile items will be wrapped in additional wrap.
A note for the recipient will be hand written on our gift card, therefore required details must be written in the note box on the checkout page.
Please dispose of the packaging thoughtfully.
Damaged Parcels or Items
In the unfortunate event of a damaged or faulty package or item, What To Give will arrange for a replacement gift or item to be sent to you within a reasonable timeframe. Please contact What To Give on 0425 344 222 or info@whattogive.com.au within 48 hours of receipt of the gift with details of the damage and we will discuss the best way forward.
Please note: What To Give will, at all times, honour its obligations under Australian Consumer Law.

Late Deliveries
Refunds will not be given for late delivery. What To Give will not be held liable for late delivery outside of our stipulated delivery time frames.   1. To submit an order for Products (Order), you must:
  2. complete and submit the online order through the What To Give Shopping Cart process.
  3. What To Give reserves the right to refuse any Order. In such case, What To Give will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and refund to you any payment in full.
  4. All products ordered are for personal use and gifting only. They must not be resold in any form or any place; What To Give reserves the right to take legal action against unauthorised and unofficial sale of goods.
  1. Without limiting What To Give's legal rights arising from any failure by you to make a payment in accordance with these Terms of Trade, What To Give reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to take any of the following actions against you if you fail to make such a payment:
  2. withhold supply and dispose of the Products requested in the Order, and/or
  3. refuse to deal further with you, and What To Give will not be liable to you for any loss or damage directly or indirectly resulting from any such action.
  4. Subject to clauses 8.2 and 8.3 and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Products are sold and information is rendered to you on the understanding that you have sole responsibility for determining the suitability of the Products for the purposes for which you intend to use them.
  5. Subject to the following "No Warranty" clauses and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the liability of What To Give for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of What To Give breaching its obligations under these Terms of Trade or other tortious duty (including arising by reason of defects in the Products) is limited to a refund or replacement of the relevant Products.
No Warranty
  1. Subject to the following clauses and to the fullest extent permitted by law, What To Give gives no warranty in respect of the Products.
  2. For consumers the Products come with non-excludable warranties and guarantees under consumer protection legislation, such as that What To Give is the rightful owner, the Products are reasonably fit for their usual purpose, are of acceptable quality, and match any description or sample. If What To Give breaches any of these non-excludable warranties or guarantees, you are entitled, at your option, to a refund or replacement of the relevant Products, and to compensation for any reasonable foreseeable loss.
  3. You may also have express rights of action against What To Give under consumer protection legislation if What To Give supplied defective Products to you that cause you injury, loss or damage.
Refunds and Returns
Can I return full size items?
If you are not 100% satisfied with your full-size product purchase, you can return your un-opened, unused full-size product(s) in its original condition to What To Give within 14 days of the date on the invoice for a full refund upon pre-approval from What To Give. What To Give will not refund any opened, used, discounted, clearance or sales products.
My items was damaged in delivery, can I return it?
Yes you can return damaged items. All products are checked for quality before dispatch and while we try our best to ensure that the product is delivered to you in perfect condition, the product may be damaged in the delivery process. Should this happen you can return the damaged items and we will re-send the product and pay for the return and additional postage charges. In the case where the product is sold out we will offer a full refund.
Who do I contact to arrange a return?
If you intend to seek a refund, replacement or exchange, you must email us on info@whattogive.com.au to obtain prior approval. Please include the order number and reason for the return. What To Give shall bear the costs of all domestic return shipping.

Please note that What To Give will, at all times, honour its obligations under Australian Consumer Law.
  1. If any provision of these terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such term shall be severed and the remaining terms shall be unaffected (in this instance the parties shall use reasonable endeavours to negotiate a suitable substitute provision).
  2. Subject to clauses 8.2 and 8.3 and to the fullest extent permitted by law, these Terms of Trade together with the Order (as accepted by What To Give), the Legal Notice on the website and What To Give's Privacy Policy constitute the whole agreement between the parties and supersede all prior discussions and agreements between them.
  3. Orders and these Terms of Trade will be governed by the law applying in the State of Victoria, Australia, and the parties irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, and the courts complement to determine appeals from those courts, with respect to any proceedings that may be brought at any time in relation to these Terms of Trade.
